Responsibilities
Design, build, and test features for the front-end
Create reusable code abstractions
Communicate and interface with web APIs
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers
Participate in code review and QA
Monitor and review events that impact site availability/performance and suggest and implement solutions
Mentor other engineers and lead projects on your own or with colleagues
Requirements
5+ years experience building front-end interfaces
Deep understanding of ReactJS
Experience interfacing with microservices via GraphQL and REST APIs
Knowledge working with AWS Lambda
Expertise in CSS including supersets like SCSS
Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jasmine, etc
Ability to build responsive UIs from tiny screens to huge displays
Awareness of cross-browser inconsistencies and client-side performance
A passion for building good looking and performant UIs
Working experience with git, branching, git-flow, and deployment strategies
Strong communication skills and not afraid to ask questions
Interacting with Global teams in US engineers and US Stakeholders
Nice to have qualifications
Experience with React Hooks
Familiarity with scrum or other agile development practices
You’ve open sourced something that people are actively using
Experience with pair programming
