The Medical Representative
  • Driving Performance - Has the responsibility to meet/exceed sales targets for assigned product(s) within the allocated territory through achievement of related Sales Excellence KPIs
  • Executing Customer Engagement Excellence - focuses on executing in-clinic Sales Action Plan by way of Customer Engagement Model, implements off-clinic promotional activities assigned to target Customers and thereby improves the Customer relationship
  • Adhering to Compliance, Code of Conducts and Policies - Is responsible to ensure that all company and industry compliance topics/requirements are understood adhered and established local processes followed

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Achievement in assigned territory Achievement of TOTAL year-end sales budget
    • Achievement of PER PRODUCT annual sales budget
    • Opportunity to Localize -
    Growth achievement and new
    account development 2.Delivery of CRM / Veeva KPIs REACH achievement (per product & total)
    • FREQUENCY achievement (per product & total) align with assigned details per products
    • # of working days in the field
    • Opportunity to Localize –
    daily submit & sync
    activities, Accomplishment of
    Post Call Notes, Quarterly
    SAP Planning submission 3.Customer Relationship Management
    (using IMMPaCT per product CVM segments) Veeva Survey on Potential and Adoption
    • Planning & Implementation of Off Clinic promotional activities within the assigned territory / area (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)

    Opportunity to Localize:

    • KOL management and
    development (to maintain and
    build strong relationship
    with the assigned key opinion
    leaders), coordination with
    Medical Societies and other
    • Customer Profiling / Customer
    Preferences – Off Clinic
    activity based on CVM segment
    and profile of the target
    doctor 4.Knowledge (Product , Market and Competition) and Selling Skills (CEM) in line with Marketing strategies Monthly Quiz covering Product Knowledge, Clinical Trials, Competitive Information (Differential Advantage vs. Competition) Opportunity to localize:
    • Quality of Call (Internal)
    based on CfE rating using the
    Customer Engagement Model
    (during accompanied calls)
    • Detailing Performance based
    on CEM during Cycle Meetings/
    Sales Conferences (sort of
    certification given to the
    reps for passing the
    examination & situational
    detailing using the CEM
    model) 5.Adherence to Policies and Guidelines related to Compliance and Internal Code of Conduct Adherence to the BI Compliance policy / local Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices
    • Adherence to Anti-Corruption Policy
    • Adherence to BI Code of Conduct Policy
    • Note: Adherence to
    International Pharmaceutical
    Practices (IFPMA) –is already
    incorporated in the policy of
    local Pharmaceutical
    Marketing Practices
    6. Regular reports Reports required from the reps to be submitted regularly (may vary from country to country such as regular competitive reports on activities and FTE)
    • Experience in field at least 2-3 yrs
    • Educational in Pharmacist or medical science
    • Prefer experience in Chest Ins. , Pranungklao hospital
