Our client is a leading project cargo freight forwarder.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the General Manager in day to day administrative activities.
  • Managing and increasing the effectiveness of the CSR team, through improvements to each function.
  • Receiving, processing, and verifying the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the organization’s internal WMS system and customer purchase order (includes customer SAP system).
  • Providing back-up support to other group members in the performance of duties.
  • Executing all import, outbound, manipulation, and storage orders as per customer requirement.
  • Having knowledge in PM4 application, bill of lading, COO, FTA, AMS/IFS filing, export declaration, LC negotiation, and customs bonded scheme.
  • Developing SOP’s and RA’s and maintaining them to the highest level.
  • Ensuring all staff is given OJT prior to performing the actual operations.
  • Performing assigned system maintenance to various electronic order files.
  • Initiating the required action for response to the customer service request.
  • Ensuring and providing quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Liaising closely with the operational and administrative team for day to day administration and operational requirements.
  • Assisting in the booking of trucking needs/managing in-house drivers.
  • Participating and providing expertise as a member of the customer service department team; developing and recommending changes to existing methods and systems to increase the accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness of the customer service team.
  • Motivating, coaching, and building an efficient administration team.
  • Preparing daily administration report and monthly productivity reports.
  • Ensuring all operational activities are invoiced to the customer accurately.
  • Conducting continuous stock take to maintain a high level of stock accuracy.
  • Being responsible for the customer interface pertaining to safety, quality, and administrative requirements.
  • Attending regular customer service departmental and external customer meetings.
  • Willingness in taking additional tasks as delegated by the General Manager Administration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Administration or Logistics related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a logistics field, either from the manufacturing sector and/or from a freight forwarder, project cargo handling, and container shipping background.
  • Experience in documentation, import/export customs clearance (EPZ, Free Zone) is required.
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to provide outstanding customer service.
