Our client is a leading insurance company.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
  • Testing the system capabilities to ensure functionality, interoperability, and data validation across distributed components of the system.
  • Handling the document defects found and utilizing the defect repository.
  • Conducting the post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Working closely with business and systems analysts to verify and validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Working closely with developers to verify new functionality and perform smoke tests to validate their changes.
  • Participating in regular scrum requirements and traceability sessions, developing test scenarios, conduct regular system testing, and documenting and tracking all test results for the program in accordance with defined processes.
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and developing the long-term strategies and plans to ensure our quality assurance strategy (Auto Testing) is aligned with the business objectives including Polaris initiatives.
  • Coordinating with very high-performance DevOps (CI/CD), TIM, Group IT, and Biz.
  • Designing the testing process in test case/defect management (e.g. Jira Dashboard, defect template, test case template).
  • Being responsible for the overall UAT meetings (daily, kick-off, sign-off) with Business to follow up the pending validation test cases and status update to the team.
  • Joining chair defect meeting with the developer on the high priority issues and provide support to resolve the problem.

Qualification:

  • 5 years above of experience as development or senior automation tester.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, particularly managing expectations.
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Experience CICD & Agile work management.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong coding skills, preferably in one or more high-level programming languages. Java a plus.
  • Strong experience with automation testing frameworks Selenium/Webdriver/TestNG.
  • Proficient with at least one of the following types of databases - Relational or NoSQL.
  • Databases (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB).
  • Experience with web development technologies, Http, Javascript, CSS , HTML.
  • Familiarity with server side load and performance testing tools like jMeter.
  • Experience with non-functional testing like web product security, page accessibility and client side page speed.
  • Familiarity with mobile operating systems like iOS, Android.
  • Familiarity with mobile application testing tools, emulators, and mobile application development environment.
  • Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso, etc.
